To make this world a better place, people should start by being nicer and caring. When someone is caring and nice, they see people as all equal and will help them when help is needed. For example, all the homeless people without anything. Caring and nice people will give a donation to try to help them with their life, a simple meal for someone or an item of clothing will make their day. People have to realize how fortunate many of us are and have to see other people as the same as us, just with nothing to provide with. Not only homeless people, but many others that do not have a lot like orphan homes. It would be a kind deed to just be a good person and give to those who need it when you do not.

Philippines Devastation
The typhoon in the Philippines is an awful event that occurred. I feel sorry for all of those who lost their homes, and even loved ones. It ripped houses apart and many communities around the Philippines. It reminds me of what happened during Hurricane Sandy, how the storm ripped apart all of South Jersey where many people live, and spend their summers down there. What I would do to help is that get a group together to set up fundraisers. We would try to fly over to the Philippines to help them to donate money to the people who have no where to live. Also, all over the Philippines to give them a start in getting their lives back together.

If I was invisible for a day, I would help a boy named Freddy. Freddy is a little boy that is bullied by a big, strong, and tough boy named Roco. Roco bullies Freddy for the little things like not being athletic like Roco, and instead being artistic. Roco feels a lot bigger than Freddy is, so he decides to push Freddy around for no reason, just because Freddy is not like Roco. I feel bad watching this going on in the halls and having no body do anything about it. If I was invisible for a day I would help Freddy stick up for himself to the bully.
While being invisible I would follow Roco around and be right by Freddy when Roco is going to bully him. When Roco goes to say something to Freddy I will mess with Roco and close his mouth so he can not say anything to Freddy. Roco will get annoyed that he can not say anything and get very frustrated. Roco will then give up trying to say anything to Freddy and will finally leave him alone. Freddy will then feel a lot better about himself that Roco came up to him, said nothing, got frustrated, and left him alone. It will make me feel really good about myself to see that Freddy is happy and Roco failed in trying to mess with little Freddy.

Paralysed Woman Controls Robotic Arm with her Mind
- This woman has been able to pick up objects move them and place them in locations using only a robotic hand, and her mind.
- The arm works by implanting two sensors, each about 4mm square.
- Implants are located in the part of the brain that deals with movement, known as the motor cortex.
- Each of the sensors holds about 100 needles, which are able to pick up information from 200 brain cells each.
- The electrical pulses are translated into movements for the robotic arm to follow, and after training it appears that the woman could routinely use the arm to use and move objects.

Interior Design Class
The class that I would add to our school if I was a teacher would be an Interior Design class. Classes would meet throughout the day as if it would be another curriculum that a student has signed up for.The class would be a good environment for everyone in the class. If you want to join this curriculum then you must be into interior design so it can be fun for you, and can help you in the future. Also you can connect with the other students who have the same interest in interior design as you.
This class would be all about designing. This designing ranges from a room, to an apartment, to a big house. Students would get different situations as if they took a career as being an interior designer. Students would have to see what looks best for their situation and to see if they could balance they money they would be getting. Students would have to figure out how much each item they are decorating with, and see if they have the money to use it. If students do not have enough money they have to work around this, and find something just as good that would fit their budget.

My Favorite Class
I enjoy Ms. Gavin's class.
US History II would have to be my favorite subject throughout the whole day. Ms. Gavin is the sweetest teacher ever. She is a very fair and understanding when it comes to work. Especially when her students have to do activities out of school. If there's a time when someone has trouble getting an assignment done, she will work something out for them to give them time to get their work done.

US History II is all about the events that occurred after World War II to present time. Her class consists of filling in the blanks for notes, and class discussions and activities. For homework, Ms. Gavin gives us time to do the homework instead of assigning it and having it due the next day. Tests are the only thing I do not like. Tests are all written out and there is no multiple choice. Her grading policy is: Classwork is 10%, Tests are 40%, Class participation and Homework are 10%, and Projects and Essays are 40%.
